20:11 67.171.158.143 talk replied to a comment on the article Hearts' Game (Guide)(y'know, it *is* a shame that things got tied to being good at HG. there's some content that some people cannot engage with on a fundamental level; in this economy, though, not engaging with a given piece of content is a luxury few can afford)

19:23 Aragonnetje6 talk contribs replied to a comment on the article Hearts' Game (Guide)(@Kislev, sounds like a good idea! @anon, have you considered perhaps winning "fairly reliably" is not the intended experience? The struggle to win is intentional) Tag: Visual edit

19:19 72.178.234.58 talk replied to a comment on the article Hearts' Game (Guide)(I played several seasons ago and could win fairly reliably, then tried playing again the other day and ended up with a team that had almost no way to generate progress. I say throw literally anything and everything at the wall and see what sticks, maybe something will put out the dumpster fire.)

15:50 Kislev talk contribs replied to a comment on the article Hearts' Game (Guide)(Do y'all think it would be useful to provide an example of how I do a draft? It seems the new guide helps a lot of people but perhaps some people like anon could appreciate a step-by-step example of "i drew and i got W, X, Y, and Z. I evaluated my options like so and decided Y was the best choice.")

15:43 Kislev talk contribs replied to a comment on the article Hearts' Game (Guide)(I really should make that subpage for drafting and team composition. I was going to do that right after I finished the original draft but sadly life got in the way and is only now slowing down to the point where I can edit wikis again.)

10:04 67.171.158.143 talk replied to a comment on the article Hearts' Game (Guide)(are you sure you read the same guide as i did? you should probably read it again. the damage the old guide did to the greater fallen london community as a whole is honestly rather immeasurable)

03:02 Aragonnetje6 talk contribs replied to a comment on the article Hearts' Game (Guide)(not the same person as before, but i use no fate-locked gear and i pull out a win roughly every other run, i have all distinctions except the seasonal ones. sometimes my draw luck is bad and i reroll right away, but still roughly every other run is a win. and i personally don't mind that there is no way to guarantee good results. it's rewarding either way, and even if i don't draw an optimal team, i'll still try to win the round and might find it works better than expected! losing might "wast...)

02:41 184.146.74.114 talk replied to a comment on the article Hearts' Game (Guide)(How many times does it have to be explained to you that if you cannot realistically expect to win UNLESS you get "all top tier" accomplices AND get lucky after draft in order to win 7/10 times that game balance is wonky? The only way around that? Only playing cards of accomplices that challenge basic stats and spending second chances on those challenges liberally, or cards from accomplices which challenge advanced skills (which don't allow second chances) that you can at least 90% (but prefer...)

17:21 104.8.48.100 talk replied to a comment on the article Insubstantial(I did find one use of this on my flights between london and the first (and currently only) stop on the roof, but I didn't think to record what exactly it was. I think it was dodging criminals who'd stolen a dirigible to get out of New Newgate, or something to that effect. It was aerial prowess + insubstantial, so I can confirm it's a neathproofed-esque stat.)

11:16 67.171.158.143 talk replied to a comment on the article Hearts' Game (Guide)(have you considered the possibility that maybe you're just bad at video games? there's no shame in it. a single objective goodness score, as a metric for heart's game, is worse than useless. what matters is how good an accomplice is within the context of one's stats, skills, and other accomplices. if you're just rolling for a team of all the top tiers, and you're giving up otherwise, that's a major skill issue in your behalf i'm afraid. the fact that smoothbrain netdecking isn't viable anymor...)
