Success

A real chase

You run, the wind against your face and the ground beneath your feet. [...]

Description summary:
The remainder of the description varies with The Form of Law.

Law typeDescription
1 ( Sigil)The sigils of your quarry are fast; your speediest pace keeps you in sight, but your flesh will tire long before entropy will deliver you your prey.
2 ( Beast)You keep upon the law's heels – it is fast, and you are faster, more adept in embodied space than it could ever hope to be. You close the distance.
3 ( Abstract)Where is it? You run to and fro, looking for an angle. A thought niggles at the back of your brain, then is gone. You run faster, and get still nowhere.

An extra sentence is added if you have Form Change Indicator:

Form change?Description
1 ( Sigil)The law ripples and shifts – a string of sigils, dancing through the air.
2 ( Beast)The law embodies itself into a jagged, misshapen quadruped.
3 ( Abstract)The law transcends; it's no longer a physical thing, but a concept, skittering away.

  • Bearsmall.png Dangerous is increasing…
  • Starshinesmall.png Capturing a Law is increasing… (+(6 - 2 * ((2 - The Form of Law) % 3)) CP) Wiki note: You gain 2 CP when the Law is an Abstract Concept, 4 CP when it is a String of Sigils, and 6 CP when it is a Beast.

Failure

Feral

Your pursuit of the law leads you down an alley, though the window of a warehouse, and out the other side. You have to claw your way through a crowd to avoid losing sight of it. That's a sight they're not going to forget in a hurry.
