Description summary:
The description varies with Crimson Airs.

Crimson AirsDescription
1-20A blindfolded visage with a melancholy voice surfaces from the tangle of face-fruit. "We urged her against it. By definition, they could not be hers to control. But even we failed to see the extent of the scheme."
21-40A face with eyes like well-mouths and a voice like a tolling bell. "Cursed is she who transgresseth the bounds or doles of her Lady." Sprouts and leaves tremble, batting at the half-ruined walls as though attempting to discern their shapes.
41-60A woman's face, with lips that barely cover her teeth. "For the crime of trespass, we sentence thee to be lashed to the Cardinal Oak, and displayed for universal edification until the terminus of the sixth rotation."
61-80This stalk is nothing but a bloodied stump, terminated without a head. The viscera is as lifelike as the others fruits' faces. The skin bears ragged marks, and the wounds are uneven, as though the head has been bitten off.
81-100Three faces at once turn to look at you, their gazes lucid and voices clear. "You think you are moving. You are being moved. You think are eating. You are being eaten. Beneath all that blood, the hand is white as bone."

Failure

Pent up for aeons

The face of a long-dead Queensman, her blood fed to the Chorus. Her mask is cracked; it is grown a part of her face. She screams.
