See also: Embarking on a Voyage of Scientific Discovery (Guide), Associating with Radical Academics (Guide), Port Cecil (Guide)

You may visit Bullbone Island and Corpsecage Island while Embarking on a Voyage of Scientific Discovery as part of the Dilmun Club storyline. See Associating with Radical Academics (Guide) for details on joining the Dilmun Club. To unlock scientific voyages, you will need to be a PoSi, have 120 Watchful, progress with the Dilmun Club, and to have finished the Featuring in the Tales of the University storyline (see Embarking on a Voyage of Scientific Discovery (Guide) for more details).

Grunting Fen similarly is a Voyage of Scientific Discovery, but additionally you will need a Screaming Map. To obtain a screaming map, you will need a left and right half, and then to assemble it in your lodgings. You can start this at Wolfstack Docks. See Cat and Mouse (Guide) for more information.

Port Cecil can be found once you have reached 2 in Embarking on a Voyage of Scientific Discovery. You must then either draw the card A Coral Commotion while in Stormbones, or spend 8 Partial Maps to Decipher a lesser-known route to a busy port.

The Iron Republic[edit]

To visit the Iron Republic Streets, you will need an Iron Republic Safe-Conduct. You can obtain this in the FIND NEW STORIES: Chat with the Local Gossip storylet in your lodgings (Obtain an Iron Republic Safe-Conduct), or via the Secrets and Spending card (Obtain an Iron Republic Safe-Conduct). The Khanate[edit]

You can discover and zail to the Khanate by passing by while zailing from the Sea of Voices back to London. You can also discover the location if you have 3 Zeefaring and a Salt Steppe Atlas, either by using the atlas to Figure out a route to the Khanate (Atlas), or from a redirect while Deciphering a Document in your Cabinet Noir in Balmoral.

Khan's Heart[edit]

See also: Khaganian Intrigue (Guide)

While you can visit the Khanate easily, most of the area will be locked off until you are able to create Cover Identities. In order to visit Khan's Heart, you must advance the railway as far as Balmoral. Then, visit the offices of the Tracklayer's Union in Balmoral and construct and upgrade your Cabinet Noir until it is level 4. If you have not yet done any construction at Balmoral, this will cost 500 scrip.

From there you must draw the card A Letter from the Khanate while in London, return to Balmoral and create a cover identity, and you will be able to visit Khan's Heart while at zee.

You can learn the location of Gaider's Mourn once you have 5 Zeefaring by using a Relatively Safe Zee Lane while in Wolfstack Docks (A Return to Terra Firma). To actually discover Gaider's Mourn, you must zail through The Snares. Going through the Snares will make zailing checks more difficult, so this is not advisable while still early-on in the game.

You will visit Cline after you have raised Associating with Radical Academics to 100 as part of the Dilmun Club and Evolution storyline. See Associating with Radical Academics (Guide) and Evolution (Guide).
