Airs of BurgundyLast sentence
10-24Snatches of sky-blue and jewelled undergrowth, petal and clay and broken beast, as though a mirror into paradise was shattered and rearranged.
28-50A thousand strands of red, each a subtly different hue. Stare too long, and it seems to pulse; a beating heart, pinned to cloth.
51-74Warp and weft are almost text – a wordless language of marks in black and white. Is this a code, or another of the Weaver's illegible visions?
83, 86-93It is a vast expanse of insect-wing patterns, tessellated in an intricate design that never seems to repeat.
