An Evasive Aristocrat has returned to London in search of his old family. Having fatally misplaced his bodyguard, he's in need of a new escort through London's underworld. But how much of his past does he really remember? Why does he seek it in Red Honey? Will he remember who he is before he returns to the Surface - if he returns at all? ##can we format this like the ES page?##

Originally released in June 2021, the Exceptional Story Reunion was made availiable for free on the 15th of July, 2025.[1] As such, unlike other Exceptional Stories, it is now availiable on the wiki. Persuasive 42 is sufficient to 100% most of the checks in the story.

The Story[edit]

Beginning[edit]

After reaching level 5 in all four Making Your Name stories, the storylet An Exceptional Story: Reunion will appear in everywhere ##probably, check## in Fallen London. To continue, Visit your Exceptional Library, located within Your Lodgings.

Back in London, meet with the Almost-Queen

Here, the story diverges into three paths, which can be tackled in any order.

Tasks[edit]

Visiting Grandmother[edit]

Visiting Grandmother Prince Albert Victor is expected at the Palace.

You may wait three times, or go out exploring. Waiting will not affect the Prince's qualities, whereas exploring first gives a decision of no mechanical significance, then gives a choice between of Enter the nursery (The Palace, Backstairs) Enter the nursery, giving +1 Template:ILPrince's Enchantment or Enter the throne room, giving +1 Red Temptations Temptations. Either way, Her Enduring Majesty will miss her appointment and the two of you will Leave (An Audience at the Palace) Leave, but not before you catch a glimpse of her through a doorway. Tell the Prince gives +1 Template:ILPrince's Enchantment while Don't tell the Prince gives +1 Template:ILPrince's Disenchantment.

Reporting to the Princess[edit]

After each excursion, you will report to the Princess of Wales, with or without the Prince. Choosing to Meet Princess Alexandra with Albert Victor has no mechanical effects while Take the meeting alone has a random chance of increasing Enchantment by 1 or Temptations by 1.

Dissemble (In Honey Dreams) Dissemble will reduce Princess' Concerns (by 1, most likely) whilst Tell the truth (In Honey Dreams) Tell the truth will increase those Princess' Concerns Concerns by Prince's Enchantment Enchantment + Red Temptations Temptations - Prince's Disenchantment Disenchantment (probably). The increases from Take the meeting alone occurs before your meeting with Princess Alexandria, and so will affect the Concerns gain.

Afterwards, you may ask the Princess a question. Her response is dependent on if Albert is present or not.

Promenading (Evenings)[edit]

Promenading The evening is yours, to entertain the Prince however you deem best.

After the day's business is over, there are five choices of activity.

An evening at the Brass Embassy Brass Embassy +1 Disenchantment
An evening at the Labyrinth of Tigers Labyrinth +1 Enchantment
An evening at Court Court +1 Disenchantment
An evening amongst the Rubbery Men Rubbery Men +1 Enchantment
An evening at Mahogany Hall Mahogany Hall +1 Red Temptations

The evening comes to a close. The Prince retires to the Westminster, already excited for tomorrow's itinerary.

A Red Letter Evening[edit]

After the Prince's second excursion (that is, with Katabasis 35), a A Red Letter Evening Blood-Red Letter will arrive. Warn him of the Princess' reputation gives +1 Disenchantment; Say nothing (Reunion) Say nothing gives +1 Red Temptations.

Dinner with the other Princess[edit]

Reunion: Last Night in London After all three tasks are completed and you have gone Promenading for the last time, Reunion: Last Night in London will appear. You may tell her truth or lie. Tell her truth or fail to lie and get +1 concerns & set Princess Knows to 1 (despite the image, not the captivating princess). Succeed in decieving her and get -1 Concerns.

On the carriage ride, Answer what little you know for +1 disenchantment, Lie for +1 enchantmnet, or, with palace cellars, Answer what you know for +1 temptations

after some conversation, the Captivating Princess will present Albert Red Honey. Encourage the Prince gives +1 tempt on success, disen on failure. Warn the Prince is the opposite. Your decision does not matter, as the Princess has already spiked your drinks.

Red-Mazed[edit]

not much matters, here. succeed the checks to avoid +7CP of nightmares.

Born to the Red[edit]

If PK = 0, get A Prince Decides with unknown unlock conditions, the prince will accept or reject the offer. Rejecting gives Kbs 200, accepting... probably 300? No other way to get it as far as I can see.

If PK = 1, get The Princess Returns with unknown unlock conditions, the prince will accept or reject the offer.

Ending[edit]

If the Prince rejected the offer... With Enchantments > Disenc, get 1x Bottle of Fourth City Airag: Year of the Tortoise With Disenc >= Enchantments, get 1x Searing Enigma Either way, the Prince will stay in the Neath the Princess of Wales will return

If Albert Victor accepted the offer... get 1x Night-Whisper.

Techncially, the NW is the most valuable reward (Ratket), followed by the Airag (Khanate>Ratket), then the Enigma.
