Permanent World Qualities update on a regular basis, while those tied to an ongoing event may update whenever any player takes a related action.

World Quality update times:

• The Bone Market's World Qualities update at 11AM UTC on Tuesdays and randomly select new values.
• The Khanate's World Qualities update at 11AM UTC on Tuesdays and randomly select new values.
• The Rat Market opens at 11AM UTC on Fridays and closes at 11AM UTC on Mondays.
• The Rat Market's World Qualities update at 11AM UTC on Mondays.
  • The Rat-Wind and Rat-Moon randomly select new values.
  • The Rat Season rotates through its possible values.
  • The False-Season rotates through its possible values once every three months, corresponding to the real-world seasons.
• The Waswood's World Quality updates at 2PM UTC on Thursdays and rotates through its possible values.
• For all Angler Crab hunts to date, Estimated Angler Crab Population is set to a value at 11am UTC on a Tuesday, and thereafter is updated by player actions for the duration of the event.

World Qualities that change randomly are guaranteed to change. They will not have the same value for two consecutive periods.
