|Description = They are regrettably large, distressingly ferocious and possessed of an alarming turn of speed. It was long theorised their ferocity could be attributed to protecting their spawning grounds. […] recent observations suggest a simpler motivation […] malice.
+
|Description = It squats in London's home waters, spines just visible through the smoking wreckage of the H.M.S. ''Breadbasket''. Its fury – whether righteous or not – can only be borne for so long.
|Game Instructions = As more Angler Crabs are hunted, they will become more elusive and rare – harder to hunt, and more rewarding.
+
|Game Instructions = Battle the Fluke to quell its rage. Dangerous cards will remain in Home Waters until it is defeated.

==Scaling==

The [[Logistic Scaling]] for {{IL|Elusiveness of your Quarry|Appearance=Elusiveness}} and {{IL|Rarity of your Quarry|Appearance=Rarity}} are similar, with both having a midpoint of {{IL|Estimated Angler Crab Population}} of 25000 and a scaling factor of -1/5000. The difference is that Elusiveness scales to a maximum value of 100, while Rarity scales to a maximum value of 7000. Elusiveness ''E'' scales with crab popuation ''C'' with the following formula:

<math>E = 100 \times \frac{1}{1 + e^{\frac{C-25000}{5000}}}</math>

Rarity ''R'' scales with crab popuation ''C'' with the following formula:

<math>R = 7000 \times \frac{1}{1 + e^{\frac{C-25000}{5000}}}</math>
