Yes, we would only record the second "[Attribute] is increasing..." line.
I stumble across old pages now and then which have the first line "You have succeeded/failed in a [Attribute] challenge!", so I guess the wiki started out recording them and then stopped. If I happen to edit those pages, I always remove such messages.
