Anybody who thinks the invading Starved Men were innocent, just remember how many people outright died when the stalagtite fell. Even many FLPCs. Those people and their close ones still have the right to be angry, even if the Starved Men weren't intending to be malicious. They still caused acts of great harm "for the greater good", as it were.

The only point they actually did start helping was when the Admiralty got involved and essentially forced communication to happen. Only then did we reach a more peaceable standpoint and work to stop the sun-hole from burning us all up. The Starved Men are now ashamed of their actions and it's good that they're taking steps to improve now, but the victims of their actions still have every right to be angry about what happened to them personally.
