actually, fallen london is an incredibly efficient way to achieve the relaxation, serotonin, and reasonable victories against achievable goals that are necessary to keep my brain as well-equipped as possible to handle more practical matters. the action economy in particular is very well tuned for this purpose. fallen london is one of very few games to have mechanics designed to make one play *less* than one otherwise would have; that is what i appreciate most about it.
