if each point of repeat dentistry raises the base difficulty for the shadowy check by, what, 100 points? hell, even if it is only 10, getting it to 777 is a pretty high check. i think broad checks bottom out at 10%, but thats still approaching 7770 attemptes to get there statistically. lot of actions, is all i am saying.

As the person who got it to 777, no, broad checks can and will go down to 0% success chance. Luckily, you still gain a point of Dentistry on failure, so I only needed 777 actions.

Did you have to stockpile social actions to avoid being evicted to New Newgate? Or do you only get arrested once you leave this area?

You only get arrested once you leave. I think I had about 55 levels of Suspicion.
