Idk if it's mentioned anywhere, but the alternative 'Urchin Spine' item you can get is worth 125 Thalassic Favour, same as the Skulls. Considering these don't have any additional Bone Market utility, this card becomes a somewhat comparatively bad option for Thalassic Favour.
