I really, really should be able to find out what items these give. Acquiring a rubbery hound takes 39 actions. Breeding takes another 8, 15, or 22 actions. Finding out which of the breeding choices is most useful to me would take 364 actions, many of which could be wasted on items which I already have more than enough of. This is exactly the sort of information which a wiki should have on it. If giving the equipment bonuses of fate-locked items are fine, surely the end-reward items of fate-locked repeatable carousels is fine too?

partial answer[edit]

Well, the reason the wiki includes Fate-locked equipment (with its bonuses), is because people equip them and put them on their mantle for all to see. So their existence, image, description, and stats are public knowledge accessible to anyone even without paying Fate.

Listing out the exact material results of each Fate-locked action is different. That part is not publicly viewable, and we can't have the wiki list exactly how many of each item and how much of each quality is given by all Fate actions.

Luckily, there's a much easier way to get this info other than trying *all* options by yourself: simply ask it in a way that people can reply to you privately. The wiki is not a good place to that. It's meant for documentation. Go to the official forums (there's even a thread there to discuss Fate stories), or to the /r/fallenlondon subreddit, ask this exact question, and you'll probably very quickly get an answer with all the results of the above actions as a private message.
