30 – 39 | A drunken Viscount in a Demon mask plays a prank on the Brass Embassy. He is not seen again. |
40 – 49 | Fashionable houses blaze with lights, driving back the gloom of London's streets. Hallowmas Masques go on late into the night. |
50 – 59 | Mirrors are shuttered or covered with cloths. The Glasswhisper is abroad tonight. |
60 – 69 | Concord Square is filled with drunk, costumed revellers. All seek the Fool's Apostate. |
70 – 79 | Your breath fogs in the air; the night is cold. Strangers walk by in unfamiliar masks. |
80 – 89 | A commotion near the Bazaar. All the candles in Southwark Cathedral have gone out. A Hallowmas prank? |
90 – 99 | Fireworks go off above St Dunstan's, in red and green and black. The smoke lingers for hours. |
100 | You are kept awake all night by the sounds of laughter, breaking glass and the occasional scream from the streets around your lodgings. |
