Description summary:
Apparently, October used her past victory to have one of the Masters imprisoned - this the Masters were compelled to obey. The Masters did through through arrangements with powers within Parabola. Which Master she is talking about is revealed in the fate-locked story "The Shallows". This would have tipped the Masters off to her true allegiance. She hid here since.
