Speaking of Whispered Secrets: They're marginally better than buying supplies with echoes, even if you buy the secrets at the Bazaar.

With echoes you get 4 supplies, each costing 2.5e and lose four actions.

Buying secrets for 4 actions (4x200) costs 16e, but if we assume the chance to get either Rumours of treasure success is 50% (I'd like to remind everyone to record your actions in the spreadsheet so that we'll have better data) than you'll get 6 supplies and 2 Map Scraps. Thus each supply will cost you 2.66e, but you've "saved" two actions because you got 6 supplies for 4 actions, and you got 2 Map Scraps. As long as you use those two "saved" actions for anything that gives more than 0.64e you have a net gain.

Naturally it all depends on the actual chance of success (spreadsheet) and how lucky you are (you have about 6.25% chance of getting 8 supplies for 16e, but also the same chance of getting just 4).
