It bothers me that the "non-permanent" arrangement description text says "You got less than your money's worth from her." I hired her once, near when I first opened my lab. She has been employed there continuously ever since, for free (no salary, I mean). I basically already have a permanent arrangement with her, even without spending the amber ha'pennies. She's produced tons of valuable research. I think I've gotten well over my money's worth out of her.
