The interpretation of media is up to the viewer. Considering this was written at a time that FB was trying to spin a more positive light on the Liberation and darkness in general, I think it's reasonable to say that the obvious dark answer is not the only one. If you view it in a dark way, that's fine, it is literally about darkness. But I viewed it in my own way, and others have similar ideas, and others have very different ones too. I don't think it's a shame at all that I'm "missing out on a very powerful moment." I believe my interpretation also has power aplenty in it. This is, after all, the ultimate act against light and Law. But you believe what you want; I did say it's up to your interpretation, after all.
