You can grind Unlikely Connections at the University Laboratory. Upon completing your Research, these are converted to Collated Research at a rate of 5 to 1.
With high enough Research Preparations, this gives a rate of 1 Collated Research per action. This is particularly useful for buying a Lengthy Lease to Premises at the Bazaar via the Temple Club.
