At each card I did one of each option, excluding the one that required an ambition item. That option doesn't even show up unless you have it. Don't recall the CP gain, but it was only three times on each card for me to move to the next. After that, there was one last card with the panther image and the only option there didn't require anything. I don't recall what you gain from the scandal option, besides a little more scandal.
