I was able to win fairly consistently with Page of Lures, Knight of Skin and King of Roses. Page of Lures is quite powerful before Tolerance starts growing. (I think this counts as a specific example of King of Castles?)

Since the Advanced option Ace of Roses: Desire gives more progress based on Preparations - Poison Tolerance, and Knight of Skin can give two Preparations in a single action, while Tolerance rarely goes up two levels in an action, generally each time use build Preparations with the Knight, the Advanced action grows more powerful overall even when building the Preparations raises Tolerance.
