For those confused as to how the raw EPA of ~4 EPA was calculated, I figure it's (610 Applause/34 Applause/action) = ~18 actions, plus 1 to start and 1 to stop the carousel is 20 total. 62.5 Echos/20 actions is 3.125 EPA, if selling at the Bazaar. If selling at the Rat Market, though, you can get 825 Rat Shillings (= 82.5 Echoes), which is 82.5 / 20 = 4.125 EPA, ignoring the Rat Market's access costs and saturation.

That said, this carousel is kind of cheap until you're end game. Here's the expected Applause for Persuasive from 200 to 300, and the corresponding Actions and then EPA (ignoring silk spillover):
