Nah, man, don't you know that it's entirely impossible for the person in charge to do any work at all? Nevermind that you made a net loss on all of this, nevermind that none of this would be possible without you, nevermind that you took on risk after risk after risk far beyond what any worker possibly could, nevermind that you bent over backwards to make things better for everyone else. No, you're the boss, and therefore it is impossible for you to do anything that could be considered real labor, or add any value of your own, or do anything but exploit those beneath you.

You are successful, and powerful, and good. And therefore you must be torn down. There can be nothing great or good that exists outside of their ideals. Those who do not have your power are therefore the ones who did all the real work, and you just sat on a cushion. Regardless of how much sense it makes. Regardless of if it has any connection to reality. That is what it means to be an ideologue. Reality means nothing, compared to the ideal.
