The Honey-Addled Detective notes that the Taciturn Maidservant is clearly terrified, and quite reasonably so. Although you have no real leads, he does propose two possible motives. He rules out examining the scene of the crime, both because the Maidservant tore the boudoir apart looking for the comb, and because the Shuttered Palace's fastidious cleaning staff will have removed any potential clues. He plans to visit some ordinary fences, just in case the thief stole the comb only to pawn it. Meanwhile, you will head to the Palace.
