Forum:Rare Opportunity Cards
I'd like to hear your experiences about Rare Opportunity Cards (and A dusty bookshop and The Departed). How often do you see them (when in their designated areas) or how many attempts did it take you to get the one-off Rares (like the snow weasel)? I'm not looking for exact numbers because I know that each player's pool or cards is different and that most people don't record their draws - just give a rough estimate so that we could see which cards are and which aren't.
My list:
- A dusty bookshop - only once (~1 in 1900 draws)
- The Departed - only once, but I don't visit the hill often (~1 in 200 draws)
- The Bonfire of the Decencies - 3-4 times (~1 in 75-100 draws)
- The battle hymn of the Drownies - once or twice (~1 in 150-300 draws)
- A commotion above! - never (~0 in 200 draws)
- A flash of white - never (~0 in 800 draws)
- A little omen - never (~0 in 1900 draws)
- A Raggedy Creature- never (~0 in 500 draws)
- A really nice haircut - never (~0 in 100 draws)
- The mournful rubbery instrument - never (~0 in 400 draws)
- The Velocipede Squad races by - never (hard to say how many draws becasue we don't know if it's location specific)
If you want to list other cards that you suspect of being rare, please do.
P.S. Sorry Nedemmons, I still don't think we can get spreadsheet-worthy data for card occurrence. I think we can only estimate how rare/uncommon a card is.
