Template:Item Loss/doc

Used to display the loss of items or discrete qualities, and add the appropriate categories. Loss of Pyramidal qualities (i.e. qualities with Change Points) should use the Drop template, even when the loss is by levels.

Template parameters

This template prefers inline formatting of parameters.

Quality name	1	The name of the item or quality being lost. Example Piece of Rostygold	Page	required
Quantity	2	The amount lost. Should include an 'x' but no negative sign. If not set and the "now" parameter is not present, the link will not display. Example 5 x	Line	suggested
Appearance	Appearance	Provides new anchor text for the item or quality link. Example Pieces of Rostygold	Line	optional
Now	now	If the action sets the item quantity or quality level to a fixed value instead of reducing it, then set this parameter to the new value. Example 5 x	Line	optional
