Visiting the home of the Watchmaker's Daughter

Hiya! Speaking of Visiting the home of the Watchmaker's Daughter: Devices and Desires has two very similar actions, depending on whether your Playing with Broken Toys is at 10 or 11. At 11--after you've been there before--you get Revisiting the home of the Watchmaker's Daughter, which has a Venture Challenge Level of 8. At 10 you get Visiting the home of the Watchmaker's Daughter, for which I saw a Challenge Level of 5 (on two different characters). You changed it to 8. Are you sure you saw 8 when you were there for your first visit, with PwBT at 10 and not 11?

Hi there! I definitely saw 8 on my frist time playing the storylet. Not sure what my PwBT was at the time.

Feel free to edit with more information if I was wrong -- these were my first wiki edits, just wanted to fill in what I saw.

If it was your first time, then PwBT was 10; it becomes 11 only after you've met the Daughter. Apparently Venture Challenge Level depends on some other mechanic as well. Thanks for the information! (And no, of course you didn't do anything wrong.)
