Hallowmas pages marked for deletion

Hi there,

I've seen you've marked several Hallomas 2014 actions for deletion. Just checking: Is this because the actions in the following years have the same content or some different reason?

Yes, they appear to be identical to their current versions, so I figured they're reduntant, marked them and linked the current ones to the Visitors at Hallowmas 2014 hub page. Should I revert? I just think it's kinda pointless to have duplicates, but maybe I'm missing something.

No, it's okay. I just wanted to know if I was missing something. I'll check if there's another possible reason to keep the pages and if not we'll delete them.

Locked/Unlock changes

Hi,

I saw that you've made changes to a few pages (e.g. Thief!, Unleash Baseborn and Fowlingpiece, or A devil's taken a shine to you, to name a few) where you changed the 'Locked with' parameter to use the "Unlock" template, instead of "IL".

The convention throuought the wiki (at this time), is that the "Unlock" template is used for the 'Unlocked with' parameter (it also adds the unlock item/quality as a category to the page, to show it's required), but that 'Locked with' uses "IL" (so it doesn't automatically adds the category (since the item/quality isn't required).

Is there a specific reason you're making these changes? My main goal is to keep the wiki consistent. If you want to change how these templates are used through the wiki, we should discuss this with others of the more active wiki contributors and admins.

Hm. No big reason, I guess I just figured the locks/unlocks can be easily swapped in some cases and an automatic category add is convenient. If it's a consistency issue I have no problem with stopping and going back where I did those changes, I prefer to keep things same-y as well. :)

I think that the vast majority of pages use the IL template for "Locked with", so for consistency I think it's best for you to revert such changes from "Unlocked" to "IL".

In some cases it makes sense to have the category of the item which "locks out" the option, but I think this is  small minority, and in those specific cases we can always add the category manually.
