Sixth Coil exploration
A summary of Sixth Coil exploration from Oldest Man on the FBG Discord, copying over to hopefully be written into the guide properly at some point:
Rough Outline of how the sixth coil works
ESTIVAL GUIDE / SIXTH COIL GUIDE
You spawn in on one of 4 random "floors"
Each floor is associated with a main stat
Each floor has a burden that you can pick up, they appear to show up almost instantly, but maybe some sorta rng involved? unknown for now
Picking up a burden makes all checks harder; with endgame stats, 3 burdens is still 100%able or close to, 4 burdens is around 70-80%
Each "movement" action you take will increase "coiling ever deeper"
Each action you take will progress "mapping the labyrinth", THIS CAPS AT 40 AND IS THE "REWARD" QUALITY (along with burdens)
You will randomly have a chance to get an option to go "up" or "down" floors, we're pretty sure that the floors loop, so going down floor 4 should lead to floor 1
When you decide to leave, you will have to start taking movement options to reduce "coiling ever deeper" to 0 to escape
Rewards
Mapping x 2 MoL For each Burden 2 x Mapping 50p item 10 x Mapping x 2p item 40 x Mapping renown
This gives each mapping a max value of 7.4 echos if you pick up all 4 burdens
This gives a maximum value of 296 echos over 45 actions (40 exploring, 1 enter, 4 cashout) of 6.57 epa, good luck actually achieving this though, due to rng, and the fact that burden 4 checks can't be 100%ed
TLDR you want your runs to be a total of 40 mapping, or 40 successful actions take a up or down action after you've gotten the burden for that floor, and after your first up/down action, ONLY TAKE THE SAME DIRECTION FOR THE REST OF THE RUN
if your first up/down action was an "up" action, don't take any "down" actions for the rest of the run
