Founding Body	First Paragraph
1000 - 2000	The spirit of Furnace is acutely sensitive to imbalance or need. What might, in some other city, require surveys and census work and an entire regulatory body, can here be sensed as instinctively as hunger or thirst.
3000	The city is prone to fads and impulses. It's Cornelius' spirit at work again. If the leadership didn't curb it [...], it could lead the whole town into disaster [...] Its responses are therefore extreme, but you can interpret them into something more reasonable.
