Forum:Coffee with the Last Constable?
Hey there, I wanted to talk about the Coffee With The Last Constable storylette. It seems like we're still missing a few options there, as well as the Rare Success for the "Invite Her Home With You" option (which I must assume exists, considering there's one for the appropriate Cheery Man option). Surely someone on the wiki has chosen her side in the conflict and can fill in the missing blanks? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Anonymous (talk • contribs)
I've chosen her side, but as I've never had the card appear to my main since I got the quality, I can't really add anything either =/ It might be bugged if you still get the cheery man card at higher levels? — Aximillio (Message Wall) 14:07, June 4, 2014 (UTC)
OP here - pretty sure both those cards are supposed to appear on all levels. I know my main has maxed all his stats and the cheery man still pops up every once and a while. Maybe it's a bug on your end? or just some very unlucky odds re: the RNG? Might be worth shooting a question or a bug report to Failbetter to find out for sure. 15:35 05.06.2014 GMT+2
OP again; has any progress been made? I really wouldn't have minded approaching Failbetter on my own on this issue, but seeing how I chose the Cheery Man I can't really complain about an issue that doesn't effect me. This seems like one of the last few major missing "holes" on the wiki - there has to be a way to address it.

What? Her last entrance in F&L says she goes off to the Elder Continent to hide from her father. Is this the answer Failbetter gave? How do they reconcile that with the description they give in Saving The Last Constable? - OP, 18:02, July 22, 2014 (GMT+2)

Got the rare success today - text is added in the appropriate page. My character's Persuasive is 115+9, so I doubt anything changes at high levels. I purposely have not finished the Family and Law storyline. Also got a failure, but since I was using a Confident Smile, I wasn't able to get the text for that. 128.97.167.67 08:40, September 29, 2014 (UTC)
