Links between old content and Waswood versions[edit]
With The Sacroboscan Calendar, a lot of formerly retired content is being re-released in a way. Is there interest in establishing links between the new and old version of the same content? I have made a suggestion on how that could look like by modifying {{Retired}} with two new parameters, new and newtext, so that {{Retired|new=newarticle|newtext=some text}} now adds a link to [[new|newtext]] (newtext defaults to the value of new if not specified). The first example can be seen at Ambushed by a Hack!.

- I like the idea. These pieces of content are related, and the Wiki is more helpful if they are cross-linked.
The current link is rather subtle. I suppose you didn't want to make something too extreme, but if I weren't looking for it I wouldn't really notice that the regular Retired banner has extra info. I might go so far as to change the top-line banner to say "This content has been replaced," but maybe that's too far in the other direction. PSGarak (talk) 14:24, 4 March 2022 (UTC) - How about now?
