Success Instructions: Beginning an intrigue will open up options to advance it in the various quarters of Khan's Heart – look for branches that require the 'Object of a Khaganian Intrigue' quality.
Which branches you can access will depend on your Khaganian Front. Taking actions in the Khanate will advance time; some actions are only available at certain times of the false-day.
Completing intrigues, or failing checks, will gradually draw the attention of the Taimen clan and their servants, the White-and-Golds. Be careful: the greater their attention, the more Obfuscation you will lose with each failed check. If you run out, you will lose your front, and need to assemble a new one from another Cover Identity!
Time, the Healer will gradually reduce the Taimen's Attention. You can rebuild the Obfuscation of your network with the help of the Reformer of Reputations, in the Copper Quarter.
