Serve your spouse with the papers. If they accept, you'll begin the process together. If they don't - it is also possible to arrange a compulsory divorce.

Game Instructions: This will put you and your spouse through the tumult of a divorce trial. The process will be costly, and either spouse may call off the proceedings at any time. When you complete it, it will strip you of any unique marriage items.

The papers have gone out to your spouse. The only thing to do now is wait.

Success Instructions: If your spouse agrees to begin the divorce process, you will both find a new storylet in your Lodgings: 'Pursuing a Mutually-Agreed Divorce'. To finalise your divorce, both you and your spouse will need to increase your 'Pursuing a divorce' quality to 100.
