This was a reward from the THE SILVER TREE Kickstarter.

Family are always trouble. A singular sort of story.

This is a reward story for backing a Kickstarter project in which Failbetter Games was involved.

The story was a reward from The Silver Tree's Kickstarter, only available to a single player, being one of the unique stories for the Master level ($1,200+).

It can be reset.

Player summary: This is a lore-heavy freely-repeatable story about the Vake with multiple outcomes and two unique items ( The Vake: The Truth and Retired Vake-Hunter's Rifle). Only one player could play it.
The Vake: The Truth can be used to send excerpts to friends (one Extraordinary Implication for the receiver, one CP of Making Waves for the sender).
