Success

Not like this

[…] He does not have traits or quirks of his own, only aggregations and combinations […]

[…] It does suggest how he will have to be unmade: by Law Furnace. Hell has the means to undo the laws by which he was formed, if they can be persuaded to help.

Success Instructions: Go to Marigold and take three Favours: Hell to the very walls of Hell in order to achieve this. If you have not been to Hell previously, you may first need to visit on your own behalf.

Alternatively, you may choose to leave the Grey Man as he is. He will continue to complain now and then in his tower. It is up to you whether this is the lesser evil.

Either way, if you think it is a good idea, you may return to Moloch Street and build a spur line connecting London more directly to the Tracklayers' City. Then again, you may prefer to keep a bit more distance between them.

Failure

A misplaced effort

Contact poisons, vapours, edible toxins: none of them have any evident effect. He is only a person-shaped shadow of something much larger than himself.
