  • 4 and below - almost impossible (10%)
  • 5 - high-risk (20%)
  • 6 - high-risk (30%)
  • 7 - tough (40%)
  • 8 - very chancy (50%)
  • 9 - chancy (60%)
  • 10 - modest (70%)
  • 11 - very modest (80%)
  • 12 - low-risk (90%)
  • 13 and above - straightforward (100%)

Each point of Prestige of a Legal Case increases the base difficulty by 1 point.

Success

Nothing 'brief' about it...

You have a train of clerks march through the courtroom to construct a towering wall of file boxes before the judge's bench. The judge asks wryly if that is all. It isn't.

Administrative expertise

The court – and your opponents – are apparently unfazed by the mountain of documents you submit. If anything, they seem oddly eager for the chance to subject you to greater scrutiny.
