Christmas (Guide)	8	It's nice how the in-game announcement does not have a link to the Advent Calendar, at least on mobile. And even the link on this page still does not actually direct you to it either. Oh, but the Discord link certainly works! Is the Advent Calendar just meant to be a secret reward for FL Discord users? Since they do a great job of not providing any way for an average player to actually access it. I've noticed this about Advent in past years too, where there is never a location in-game that lets you access the Advent Calendar, nothing like the equivalent of a Hallowmas Primer. If you somehow missed the initial pop-up, or just didn't know what it meant since there's no directions to the actual thing, I could easily see a new player missing out on it entirely despite playing every day. I would not be surprised if Advent Calendar being accessible only for people who follow their social media / Discord was an intentional decision by a certain AK to encourage the playerbase to have to interact more for FOMO. I am disappointed that Failbetter has continued this direction.

Guess FBG intends for people to use plugins or the wiki, since actually putting the quality name in the results would be too much effort.

Victory and Defeat	4	I feel that failbetter had taken word play a step too far here. Every card's every option I need to look at the wiki to see if it raise or lowers goat vs goat. The text on the cards are useless. Does it benefits the first circle or the second, who knows! If a luck challenge is favourable, does it benefits the first circle or the second, who knows? In a game where reading the story is the primary reward, text on the cards are useless. I have no idea how the designers come up with such a shitty design.
Stopping Along the Coast	4	By Gawain's gizzard, I guess having a 6.5 EPA of beetles for 1 action was too much, so they had to go and slash it down to 1.3 EPA for 5 actions. What a big fat waste of a storylet. Never do this.

A Worker in the Common Cause	4	does any one else think this quality's text is performative as frick? this whole thing about how other workers are covering for me while I learn how to cooperate - please. Do they cover for me when I use a forbidden magic language to connect with the spirit of their city? or is it when i use another magic science to fortify them against eldritch beasts? I'm not against the idea of learning to cooperate, but this shtick about how I'm such a sorry burden for this city I founded and I built a railroad to and I paid for and I developed and I protected - feels like it's meant to appeal to a certain crowd of self-flagellating, erm, "emancipationists".
