Justice of a sort

New Newgate swallows another victim. They were mired in base practices - theft, blackmail and extortion. Their loyalties were poorly thought out. They didn't actually commit the crime for which they were punished, but that's hardly the issue.


Perhaps not quite plausible

The Well-Intentioned Constable scratches his fine moustache and says, 'Well, I can't help but agree that she's a villain. But she was in the tomb-colonies at the time, being dead. I can't take this to court.'
