URL GET extension and shorter SMW query links[edit]
Extension:UrlGetParameters has been added to the wiki allowing access to the URL's query string with the #urlget parser function. This allows for many exciting opportunities!
The first use of this has been the shortening of certain overly long SMW query links (such as a quality's use list). While functionally fine, these links were rather nightmarish when shared. The queries have been copied to their own pages (subpages of the new Ask) and require only the quality's name in the URL to generate the same list. {{Property category}} and {{Property listing}} templates have been modified with the optional ShortURL parameter which will switch to this shorter form (but only if the relevant query page exist under Ask). The used name can be overridden with PropertyOverride in case the names differ. Quality and Item templates now use this feature.
