Guide request[edit]
Hello,
I like your Beginner's Guide and have recommended it on a forum thread. There is one passage which I find frustrating:
"
If you have plenty of something and can't convert it higher, either because you lack the right connections, it's the end of the category line, or it's an item like Rostygold or Moon-pearls that can't be traded up at all, simply sell some of your surplus. This is not as profitable as selling Short Stories (see above), as the sale price is usually half the purchase price, but it's quick and doesn't use up any actions. "
Where exactly is the "see above"? Could you please add a more specific pointer?

I don't know, either. I'm removing it. :P Thank you very much for pointing that out.
The Beginner's Guide is not meant to be thorough about Fallen London's gaming mechanics or min-maxing. Its length and content shouldn't feel unwieldy to new players. In fact, I'm not satisfied with its tone, either. It should get players enthusiastic about playing the game, not feeling overwhelmed or confused with new information. That will get a reworking later.
If anyone wants to go in-depth about Change Points, money-making or whatever else, please make a separate guide for it; we can link to them in the Beginner's Guide.
The Money section needs the greatest overhaul and its own separate money-making guide. Is anyone interested?
