Hi, thanks for filling out the failure result! Question: is this a typo in the game or on the wiki? It should be "off", not "of". If it's a game typo, then don't rename it here; wait till FL fixes it.

Another thing, how many points of Cat-Like Tread did you lose? 1 or 2?

I only noticed that typo later, so I didn't check to see if it was different in the game.

And I lost 2 points of Cat-like thread. I figured that since you can only have 3, you'd always get the "you only have one left" text instead of one that says that you lost 2 x Cat-Like Tread. But yeah, maybe it's better to not use the actual game text in this case. Or at least add the actual number, sort of like CPs?

Even though it isn't 100% correct, I just go with the standard "You've lost ? x Cat-Like Tread" message.

"And I lost 2 points of Cat-like thread."

So if you've got 3 points of Tread when you fail, you're still safe. If you start with 1-2 points and fail, you're screwed. Ugh, now I remember why I don't plan Escape Routes anymore; the Nosy Servant is such a pain...what with him doing his job properly and all! Damnable work ethics ruining my larcenous fun! :P
