Success

Vested interests

[…] "We can talk now […] Mr Wines […] don't want to be associated with Vake-hunters.[…] But it's also authorised me […] to help them […]"

[…] "Listen, my wife has been nagging me to find cheaper fireworks […]"

Fireworks, eh? You should […] talk to the Gracious Widow[…] in Spite.

Description summary:
You arrive at midnight and meet Jervaise, who's disguised as the Carnival's Bearded Lady. Mr Wines doesn't want to be associated with Vake Hunters but it is OK with Jervaise helping those who deserve it, since it's all a part of an elaborate game. Jervaise wants cheaper fireworks, but due to conflict of business interests, can't ask for them directly from the Gracious Widow, and he needs your help.

Failure
