Category talk:The Airs of London

From Fallen London Wiki

Normally one can't see what level the Airs of London quality is at, but I've finally discovered a way. If you select it as your scrapbook status and look at your profile, a level number will be attached to the scrapbook image (except at level 1). I believe the system works as follows:

  • when the quality changes, it will display a message corresponding to the new level. If you refresh your profile in another tab, you can see the level it has increased to.
  • an action that raises Airs of London will always raise it by the same amount (e.g. usually +31 for the Literary Ambitions options)
  • the quality is 'reset' back to 1, not zero; I'm not sure yet whether this happens automatically once the quality gets high enough, or whether some actions manually set it to 1. Edit: pretty sure the latter is the case.
  • level names are not unique - I've already seen the same description for levels 110 and 111.

Hopefully we can be more exact now with this quality - recording level names, increases, and discovering the ranges at which each option unlocks. Jemann (talk) 00:07, December 22, 2012 (UTC)

Now that there are several things that require changes in the Airs of London for experimentation, it might be nice to have a way to see what CHANGES Airs of London and not just what uses and changes it all in one. I tried to use the page for this earlier and it took me quite a while to find something decently available that changed it and didn't just require it. (Although, to be fair, I couldn't replicate this incident again if I tried. MAYBE I AM JUST DUMB but it would be nice to have) MidnightVoyager (talk) 07:02, August 31, 2013 (UTC)

YOU ARE DUMB, BUT I AM ALSO DUMB; I AGREE WITH YOU.

We should list the best options to change Airs under the description. What are they, anyway? Robbing drunks in Spite and sleeping at your Lodgings? Any other ideas?
