Empty pages[edit]

Hi there!

Sometimes wikia messes up stuff around here and pages go blank, it's mysterious. In these cases, the easiest fix is to append ?action=purge in your browser address bar and visit that - it will regenerate the page and thus fix the hiccup.

For your comment earlier, that link in question would have been: http://fallenlondon.wikia.com/wiki/Through_Fallen_London?action=purge

Inventory / item action storylets[edit]

Hi,

I replied to your questions in Inventory in the talk section of that article (in book form, unfortunately). Perhaps User:Jemann and User:Speeth can take a look as well.

{{I}} requires a page name! is finally here[edit]

Hi!

Seeing your recent edits to use IL in some action results, I quickly built {{i}} which should be better suited for that purpose. Check Template:i for details, or compare versions like these two for what it does best.

Should you have any further requests, feel free to reply here, in the template talk, or on my wall and I'll do my best to code them up.

Thx for the template, great work.

Maybe we should write parts of a new editing guideline and offer it, so it may find its way into the official guideline, that way ppl could really make use of this stuff.

Another thing: I was pretty happy about the fact that IL does not make things bold itself. The bold font is much harder to read and makes columns broader. Think this bold stuff is an attempt to make things look exactly like it's in-game, but wiki should make for an overview of the game, not for a copy of it. Imho it's sufficient to have the link colored to jump into ones eyes. Readability first, I pledge for less font attributes. I claim there werent too many considerable efforts to make this wiki a typographic milestone, the font is too dense. Or should I get new glasses^^

Sure, that's an easy edit to make to the template. I do not have a typography background (or given the matter much thought), but wouldn't care either way. I like that the bold font for both parts makes it clear they belong together in cases like "Connected: Criminals" where the "connected:" is not part of the link.

I don't have problems with bold vs normal shape myself in the font I'm using, but this might be different for others. Either way I'd like some other editors weighing in on the question, but since it's just a change to be made in one place after a decision has formed, it shouldn't hold up matters :)
