Pass the blade of the knife across your palm. Let the blood fall into the lacre. Something will arise: though it will not survive the winter.

Game Instructions: You will keep the Knife, but none of the other ingredients. This will also slightly reduce your quirks. Whatever you gain will last an unpredictable interval - a few weeks at most. Creating a Noman will become rapidly more expensive as January wears on.

Wiki Note: The current numbers correspond to January 5th. Once the Noman is available, the requirements increase for Taste of Lacre by ~0.8 per day (up to a maximum of 15) and Deep Amber by 312.5 per day. When the Deep Amber requirement (or loss) would exceed 6250, it is instead replaced by 1 x Nodule of Pulsating Amber.
