Brawling with DockersScene Description
None (Brawl hasn't started)[…] a half dozen crates have fallen from the sky. […]

[…] the Dedicated Dock Walloper claims to represent the rightful owners; the Persistent Porter has invoked a law of salvage […] and a handful of the Widow's people are bidding to carry off the whole lot […]

1+You've elbowed your way into a dispute over some lost (or abandoned, or stolen) cargo outside the Blind Helmsman.
Taking SidesYour place in all this
0In short, it is clearly time for someone to sort things out. Or, at the very least, show the combatants how to settle a dispute properly.
1 (Order)You're looking to restore the crates to their proper owner. And who can say: perhaps they'll be kind enough to let you keep a finder's fee?
2 (Downtrodden)You're hoping to see the deserving workers get away with these crates. It might make up for their absurd rates of pay.
3 (Unlawful)You can hardly pass up the chance to aid in a good heist.
10 (Yourself)Never mind whose crates these were. They'll be yours, by the time you're finished with this lot.
Brawling with DockersCurrent Scene
1-8You've convinced the Persistent Dock Porter that these crates are no concern of his – the hard way.
9-14You've sent a Long-faced Overseer to the rightabout.
15-19You've stacked half a dozen cabin boys like cordwood.
20-24You've speedily and forcibly removed the Dedicated Dock Walloper from your path.
25-29You have left a pair of muleteers sleeping off their discomfort in a rubbish heap.
30-34You've dropped the Garrulous Drinker right off the end of the pier.
36-39A costermonger with a tray of (slightly desiccated) pepper cap mushrooms darts around the outside of the brawl, keen not to be involved.
40-44A crowd of drinkers come running out of the Blind Helmsman to watch the fight. Then they realise that this is no place for onlookers, and crowd back inside.
45-49Three or four inebriated persons land in the water: a very satisfying sequence of splashes and shrieks.
50-53A whole team of Burly Longshoremen were considering involving themselves in the battle. You've put a stop to that.
55-58You've dispensed with both of the Twin Ballast Heavers.
60-64A man with a cage full of sorrow-spiders edges nervously around the outside of the fray. "Good show!" he shouts encouragingly. "Excellent footwork!"
65-69You've cracked open several crates, through the expedient of flinging your enemies into them.
70-79You've chased away an Arkwright's Second Assistant.
80-84You've driven a crowd of zailors to look for their entertainment elsewhere.
85-89You've eliminated an energetic circus-let of LBs. They run off squeaking into the night.
90-94You've disarmed a Clay Watchman. He is confused. This doesn't happen to him often.
95-99You have neutralised a Clay Watchman entirely.
100-109You've fought off a Dark-Eyed Captain. She really had no business concerning herself with a cargo once it was on land, did she?
110-149You've tipped a bleary-eyed Admiral into the drink. He's decided to take his chances with the Drownies and swim for the opposite shore rather than encounter you again.
150+You've brought down every one of your opponents. You're the only one left standing.
