My suspicion is that buying beeswax at the rat market and then upconverting to memories is the best option unless we either get a more convenient source for anticandles or lightbulbs.)

If something gives +4 to one stat and -2 to another, it's treated as +2 for the purposes of BDR. The formula also takes into account negative numbers so you can't do any funny business like equipping all items that tank Respectable so you can get that +4 Dreaded without the associated -2 Respectable.)

If I lose the first round I'm out immediately and going back to drafting accomplices. If I lose the second I'll play one more to see which of the win or the loss was the fluke. cod specifically is a terrible choice to be your only prep generator imo because she has only one the card. her big benefit is that she gets out of your way quickly.
