Mid-Game Content

Hunting Bees in Old Newgate is a carousel in The University, released with Mr Chimes' Grand Clearing-Out. It has a grind similar to Brawling with Dockers, and uses Bees Caught as a progress quality. Each point of these have an assumed value of 0.1 , as well as a bonus of 2.5 for turning them in, although this takes 2 actions in addition to gaining the progress qualities. Any surplus points of Bees Caught you may have are exchanged for a secondary reward. The activity focuses on Dangerous or Watchful depending on your Dagger or Flint. Watchful when Dagger or Flint is 0-50 and Dangerous when Dagger or Flint is above 50.

Airs of Old Newgate serves as a randomizer, similar to The Airs of London. Most options (besides defecting) seem to change Dagger or Flint by a random amount between -10 and +10. This means that whichever side you start on, you may switch sides at some point if the random fluctuations move you above or below 50.

Rewards

For every additional point of Bees Caught you have beyond the cost of the reward you choose, you will be given a secondary reward of either Whispered Hint or Foxfire Candle Stub. The current conversion rate is: 10 x  Whispered Hint or 10 x  Foxfire Candle Stub per extra 1 x  Bees Caught.
